On 17 July 2024, HEM Louis Kabamba Watum, Minister for Industry, Small and Medium-sized Industries and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (PMI/PME), paid an official visit to the Directorate-General for Corridors and Industrial Development (DGCDI).
During the visit, DGCDI management had the opportunity to present in detail the projects underway and the main challenges facing the institution. Discussions highlighted the importance of industrial development corridors in strengthening the national economy and the need to overcome certain obstacles to ensure the success of current initiatives.
The minister also held a meeting with the DGCDI trade union delegation, addressing employees' concerns and reiterating his commitment to supporting management's efforts to achieve the objectives set. This visit marks an important step in the collaboration between the Ministry and the DGCDI, with a shared desire to promote the industrial development of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
