The mission of the Directorate General for Industrial Development Corridors (DGCDI) is to promote sustainable and integrated economic development through the development of industrial corridors in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The aim of these corridors is to facilitate the movement of goods, services and investment, while strengthening infrastructure and creating regional growth centres. To achieve its ambitions, the DGCDI has adopted a clear strategy based on six major objectives:

- Promoting regional cooperation and economic integration
- Optimising the use of infrastructure
