Head of State Félix Tshisekedi has just appointed new members to the Board of Directors of the Direction Générale de Corridor de Développement Industriel (DGCDI), in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The relevant order, dated 10 June, was read out on Congolese national radio and television (RTNC) on Thursday 13 June by Tina Salama, spokesperson for President Tshisekedi.
The members include three women who have been promoted to decision-making positions. They are Hélène Miasuekama Kiese, Cécile Kanjinga and Marie-Rose Bunkulu.
A native of Kinshasa, Hélène Miasuekama Kiese is the new Managing Director, replacing Cécile Kanjinga, who has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director in the same company.
Hélène Miasuekama studied at university in Belgium. She obtained her engineering degree and then her MBA from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
She has worked for a number of companies, including the shipping company Maersk and Managing Director of Canal + RDC.
